Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still get all NHS services?
We can engage every NHS service that an NHS gp can except NHS prescriptions. In the case of prescriptions we can only write private prescriptions. However, in practice we only write private prescriptions for acute medication as it’s relatively cheap for repeat prescriptions we work with your nhs gp on your behalf to ensure these are prescribed for you as nhs prescriptions.
Our membership covers everything our doctors or wider team do with their own time except the specialist services they may provide. This will cover all the visits you need from your doctor. It also covers anything our doctors prescribe from their doctors bags.

We realise that continuity of care is so important to our clients, and for safe, effective medicine. When you register with us you will have a named doctor that takes responsibility for most of your medical care, and will always be your point of contact. Of course there will be times they are unavailable, or you may wish to see a different doctor for a particular issue – you can feel reassured that the rest of our team will always have knowledge of your health, have access to your records, and share in our Practice ethos.

There are no age restrictions to our services, our only stipulation is that children under 18 sign up with a parent or guardian
No, unlike insurance companies we don’t look at any pre existing conditions and simply make our decision on members on how much we believe we can help you as a patient.

We require a 3 month minimum sign up, beyond this we simply ask for one month’s notice for cancellation.

Some international insurance companies may cover our services but typically private gp services are not covered. That being said it is likely you will be able to claim back some of the tests we do as part of annual health screening allowances.

Some international insurance companies will cover private GP services, please reach out to your insurance company to see if they cover our services.

Yes, as part of the NHSs shared care pathways commitment you remain entitled to all NHS services even though you will be starting your care pathway privately.

On signing up to our services you will be asked to complete a patient consent form so that we can request your NHS medical record, we will then add this to your patient record so that your concierge doctor can review it.
Typically we advise that just major diagnosis are shared back with your NHS GP, however we understand that some patients would like more or less information shared with their NHS so are happy to work to your requirement.
In urgent scenarios we will work with the hospital you are being admitted to so they have a full understanding of why you are being admitted and of your medical history. We are also able to arrange for you to be admitted to a private urgent care facility in certain scenarios
Yes certainly! Please reach out to us and we’d be happy to discuss how we can help your relative
